The Rotunda, Kingston is delighted to welcome British food and cocktail bar ‘Tamesis’ to the leisure complex.
Tamesis is a brand new business started by three local entrepreneurs Simona Patackaite, Paul and Tina Winten. The ‘Tamesis’ concept was born out of a gap in the market for high quality British food, as supposed to the endless trend for international restaurant chains. As a result Tamesis is a celebration of all things British.
The food is modern with flavoursome, delicious dishes that are prepared using local seasonal produce and quality ingredients. Dishes to choose from include Black Pearl Scallops to Roast Rib of Beef for 4 people carved at your table. Daily specials also compliment the menu and remain a celebration of what is currently in season.
Drinks are also a big part of the Tamesis offer, with an extensive cocktail list celebrating British flavours available which sits alongside a considered wine list and great choice of beer and ales. The restaurant and bar reflect the signature modern, democratic and welcoming style representative of Tamesis’s design philosophy
David Harper, Centre Manager for The Rotunda said “It’s fantastic that Tamesis has open in The Rotunda, offering fresh British food and contemporary cocktails. It’s a perfect fit for the Rotunda which is a vibrant and cosmopolitan complex for professionals and locals alike”.
Tamesis is situated on the ground floor of The Rotunda and open from Monday to Sunday, for lunch and dinner, seating 118 in the main dining area and 60 in the bar lounge.
