Wright Brothers, famous for the Oyster and Porter House in London's Borough Market, is opening a new restaurant with the same name in Soho.
The new restaurant and oyster bar, which will officially open on 12 November, will be located on Kingly Street with a second entrance on Kingly Court.
Arranged over three floors, Soho combines the signature Wright Brothers oyster bar and high-table seating, with an open-plan kitchen downstairs. While upstairs, traditional restaurant and banquette seating overlooks busy Kingly Street. It is here that diners can enjoy house staples, the wide range of fresh oysters, crustacea and fruits de mer with the new Wright Brothers Oyster Stout or a glass of wine.
The oyster bar and year-round courtyard facing Kingly Court offers a lighter, all-day bar menu.
Executive head chef David Gingell, who previously worked at the Wolseley and Galvin Bistrot de Luxe, will be in charge of the kitchen along with head chef Jai Parkinson. Front of house will be overseen by group operations manager Jeremie Cometto and general manager Carina Pedrica.
Wright Brothers director Ben Wright commented: "As oyster wholesalers and oyster farmers, we are passionate about oysters and seafood. This second London site is all about delivering that passion and expertise directly to oyster and seafood lovers in the heart of London."
Wright Brothers, which is owned by brothers-in-law Wright and Robin Hancock, has been supplying London restaurants with oysters and shellfish through its wholesale business since 2002.
